What you don’t repair will return!

I had a picture over the bathroom toilet that needed to be hung on the wall. Since I didn’t feel like doing so I found a temporary fix which was to just prop it up on the toilet lid. That worked for a while but every now and then it would fall and hit me which at times caused temporary pain. Yet I would put it right back. I did not stop having to deal with it falling or the pain until I permanently fixed the problem which was to hang it on the wall.

We can’t continue putting a temporary fix on something that needs repairing. You can’t continue to put a band-aid on a wound that needs stitches to heal.
